Since 2015, every piece from Linen Handmade Studio has been made the same way. Not in advance, not in thousands, not in guessed sizes. Only once someone has asked for it.
When you order a dress, a shirt or a tablecloth from us, it does not exist yet. There is no warehouse shelf with your size waiting in a plastic bag. There is a roll of European linen in our studio, a pattern, and a small team who will cut and sew it for you after you click "order".
It is a little slower. We think that is the point.
Why we don't make anything in advance
Most clothing and home textiles are made months ahead, in guessed quantities and guessed sizes. What doesn't sell is discounted, then discounted again, and often thrown away.
We decided long ago not to work that way. No overstock, no end-of-season piles, no guessing. Nothing is made for no one.
From a roll of linen to your door
Your order reaches our studio. We check your size, color and any notes you left.
The linen is prepared. We work with OEKO-TEX® and European Flax® certified linen, softened so it feels good from the first touch.
Our team cuts and sews your piece. Several pairs of hands work on every item, from the first cut to the final seam.
Every detail is checked. The piece is pressed, wrapped and sent on its way to you.
Making takes 2 to 5 working days, depending on the season. In the busy summer months it takes a little longer. In autumn and winter your piece is usually ready very quickly.
Made for you, not for an average size
Because nothing is cut in advance, you get choices that mass production can't offer.
More than 30 linen colors. Not only what happens to be in stock.
A wide size range. Clothing that fits your body rather than a standard.
Custom lengths on request. Write to us before ordering, whether it is a longer dress or a tablecloth for your table, and we will make it happen.
Real people to talk to. Ask us anything about fit, fabric or color before we begin.
A piece that truly fits your body, or your home, is a piece you actually use. Again and again.
Why a little waiting is worth it
We live in a time when almost anything can arrive tomorrow. Waiting a few days can feel old-fashioned.
But think about the things you have kept the longest. They were rarely bought in a hurry. They were chosen. Waiting turns a purchase back into a decision, and a decision into something you care about.
Linen that gets better with time
Linen is one of the most durable natural fabrics. It breathes in summer, softens with every wash and gains character with age. A well-made linen dress, shirt or tablecloth is not a one-season purchase. It is something you use for years, and maybe one day pass on.
Worn. Loved. Kept.
